Community Guidelines

Our Commitment to the Community

At Lodestar's, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive community environment for everyone. The information provided here is intended to offer general guidelines for engagement and interaction however, it is important to note that these are not legal recommendations or advice. Any actions which result in a report being made to external organisations including the police will result in an immediate and perminent ban from accessing our community centre. As a community member, it is essential to understand the specific terms and guidelines that govern your interactions within our community. We strongly advise seeking assistance from our team if you are unsure about an action that you or others have taken.

 Community Guidelines

Community guidelines are a set of principles and rules established by Lodestar's to govern the interactions and conduct of community members within our space. These guidelines are meant to define the expectations and boundaries for engaging with our community and its various services and activities. The Guidelines have been listed below:

1. No hate, if you dont like something or someone then please keep this to yourself. Any hate speach or actions will result in a ban being placed on you.

2. No harrasing, if you wish to engage with anyone within the building this must been done mutually, this means if someone doesnt want to talk to you then leave them alone. Lodestar's community hub has a zero tollerance on sexual harrasment and this will not only be reported to the police but will result in your immediate removal from the building.

3. No Judgement, People who come to us come from all walks of life, this means that they may be less presentable than you or look different to how you would like. However, everyone is welcome in our community centre, if someone comes in and feels judged we cannot help them. Keep your judgements to yourself.

It is crucial to follow these guidelines at all times. Individual activity guidelines and rules will be presented at each activity however those outlined above will not change.

Our guidelines for participating in peer support groups may differ from those for engaging in amateur drama activities. Therefore, we encourage active community participation in shaping and refining these guidelines to ensure they reflect our community's values and needs.
